Aurora, a witch who can make deals with spirits, binds and banishes Vex to a remote location in space, where it remains trapped for 10 years.
Vex is eventually freed by another spirit who shares a hatred for witches. Vex vows to take revenge on Aurora and find out why she banished it. But Vex soon realizes that Aurora is not alone. She has an ally, a powerful witch with a goal that will change the course of every spirit’s existence forever… if they succeed.
